Hanging Rock OHV System: Primarily used for mountain bikes and off-highway vehicles such as four-wheelers and side-by-sides, the Hanging Rock OHV System features 26 miles of multi-purpose trail and over 50 fishing ponds scattered throughout the system. One of these trails is a 2.7 mile multi-purpose trail that is perfect for hiking: the Gas Well Loop.

Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area: Lake Vesuvius has six overlapping hiking trails (including an archery trail), a scenic overlook, a group campground and two family campgrounds, a beach area for swimming, picnic areas, a boardwalk commonly used for fishing, and 143 acres of water for electric-motor boating, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing.
